Drake’s Fund was created by the Decatur Morgan Hospital Foundation in memory of Drake Wyatt, the son of Holly Wyatt, a dedicated nurse at Decatur Morgan Hospital. In 2009, on his third birthday, Drake tragically passed away in a drowning accident.

In honor of his life, this fund raises awareness and provides resources to prevent similar tragedies from happening to other families.

Through Drake’s Fund, the Foundation sponsors free swim lessons for children who apply to our program, ensuring that more kids in our community learn essential water safety skills. Holly Wyatt has worked closely with the Foundation to shine a light on this important cause, turning personal loss into a mission to protect others.
