Tribute Programs

The Decatur Morgan Hospital Foundation Tribute Program provides a way to show you care through a special remembrance. The Foundation acknowledges all gifts the same, regardless of the amount of the gift, and the amount is always confidential. The honoree or honoree’s family will be notified of your gift, but the donation amount will not be mentioned.


All gifts to the Foundation may be unrestricted gifts or specifically designated to a program or hospital department.

Making Memorial Donations

You may create a lasting tribute to the memory of a friend or relative with a memorial gift at any time. Families who have lost a loved one may request memorial gifts be made in lieu of flowers. Below are excerpts with suggested wording for requesting these types of gifts in obituary notices.

To specify a specific fund:

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Decatur Morgan Hospital Foundation, designated to the ___________ fund. Donations may be mailed to Decatur Morgan Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 2239, Decatur, AL 35609-2239, or made online at decaturmorganfoundation.org.
